Opinion Poll.jpgWelcome to the Survey and Poll page!

There are two small tasks to complete here. Poll results will be updated daily and posted at the bottom of this page.
  • The first task (a survey) will activate your prior knowledge and understanding about your own self-guided learning. If there are unknown concepts please use your 'best guess'. There are no right or wrong answers.
  • The second task (a poll) is a response to the information provided. Again, it is your best guess or 'gut reaction' to the ideas presented that is required, not an extensive review or lengthy investigation.

Think about how these tools can be applied in a self-guided learning venture to 'get to know' the learner.

FIRST:
In order to understand your own personal experiences, opportunities and needs for self-guided learning, please participate in this brief survey. Once you complete the survey, close the tab/window to return to this page. Take part in our online survey

NEXT:
A Manifesto of Self-Guided Learning incorporating 27 principles for teaching yourself anything was proposed by Scott Dinsmore.
Here is a brief summary of those principles.
If you want to read more about these principles, you can visit the blog site 27 Principles of Teaching Yourself Anything (aka The Self-Guided Learning Manifesto)written by Scott Dinsmore.

While you review these principles, think about which ones resonate for you in your current context. You will be asked to select your top five items. THIS POLL IS NOW CLOSED!

You can return to the MAIN PAGE of the group wiki or click on the desired link in the navigation menu on the right.
